Halls for events
The pride of the MERCHANTS’ CLUB is a renovated spacious Mercury Hall of 300 sq. m. on the third floor, which once held luxurious banquets, and various meetings.
The interior of the hall retains the combination of the old luxury atmosphere, created by original moldings, ornaments and pillars, and innovative functionality of these days. Depending on the event, the following room variations are available in the hall: 160 seats at tables, around 200 seats without tables, and around 250 standing areas. For the maximum comfort of the guests, the hall is equipped with modern heating, ventilation, and dynamic lighting systems, there is all necessary video, audio and presentation equipment, wireless internet connection is available, and the hall has auxiliary rooms of 24 and 14 square meters.
Billiard used to be played and the meetings used to be organised in the more modest 112 sq. m. hall of the MERCHANTS’ CLUB decorated with authentic mouldings, so the purpose of the current hall has not changed – the space can be conveniently used for meetings or celebrations for a smaller number of participants.
The hall, which can hold around 40-70 people, is equipped with modern ventilation, heating and dynamic lighting systems. The Akantas Hall on the third floor can be accessed through a gorgeous staircase or one of two elevators.
The lobby of 65 sq. m., located between the Mercury and Akantas Halls, can serve as a place for a small coffee break or as a gathering place for guests. The complex of both halls and the lobby comprise the area of 500 square meters.
A private inner courtyard – serving as a reception area for visitors, the glass ceiling of which reaches all the way up to the fifth floor and serves as the natural source of light round the year, is set up for the convenience of the guests and employees of the MERCHANTS’ CLUB.
n a courtyard of 84 sq. m., located at the first floor, you may find a peacefully flowing stream with small bridges and luminous benches, which allow you to sit back and enjoy your free moment, take time for pondering or have an easy and non-binding chat with a customer or a colleague. This place is like an oasis of tranquillity allowing you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and offices.
Respite from work with a cup of coffee, admire the panoramic view of the streets and famous buildings of the centre of Vilnius, raise a glass of a celebratory drink or simply take a breath of fresh air – all this can be done at the 170 sq. m. rooftop terrace of the MERCHANT’S CLUB the stairs to which lead from the first floor up to the sixth.
Magnificent view opens up to one of the main streets of Vilnius from the terrace, as well as to the newly reconstructed and verdant Lukiškės Square and the distant Tauras hill shrouded in many legends about the pagan celebrations of the ancient times that took place here and the aurochs, the king of the Lithuanian woods, that was once hunted by the Grand Duke Gediminas.
